VEGAN ACAI BOWL RECIPE

Acai Bowls are easily becoming one of the most popular plant- based breakfast options and rightfully so. They’re so delicious and very filling.

  • Full of healthy minerals that support your body such as iron, calcium, zinc, and B vitamins

ACAI BOWL RECIPE

Here’s what you’ll need to get started and where you can find the ingredients. 

Blended Ingredients

    • Organic Pineapple (Raw Juice recipe includes mango but Naturally Culturred substituted it for pineapple)
    • Organic Blackberries
    • 1 Organic Banana
    • Organic Vanilla, Unsweetened Almond Milk ( Purchased from Whole Foods, but can be found at Trader Joe’s for cheaper)
    • Organic Unsweetened Acai Puree Packs (Purchased at Trader Joe’s)
    • Almond Butter
    • Plant-based Vanilla Protein Powder or Dairy Free Yogurt (your choice but we like Nutragen Nature’s Purest Protein Brand)

Topping Ingredients

    • Banana
    • Flax Seed – Spectrum Brand from WholeFoods (blend the seed to a powder before using it as a topping.
    • Vanilla Granola- Cascadian Farm brand from Whole Foods
    • BlueBerry
    • Honey

Tip: Frozen fruit tends to be expensive. You can buy fresh fruit and freeze them the night before.  It’s a lot cheaper and works the same way.  Frozen fruit helps thicken the texture of the Acai and prevents it from being too watery.
